During the Great War thousands of soldiers lost their lives on the battlefields of the Ypres Salient in the west of Belgium, near the French border. Following the succes of the first part of Images of Flanders - Ypres in the Great War, the author returned to the archives and discovered new sources. The result is a book containing over 200 fascinating photographs from before, during and after the First World War.
