The Dunsterforce was a special military force established in 1917 after the breakdown of the Russian army as a result of the Russian revolution. Their mission was to restore the Russian defence in the Caucasus in order to prevent the Turkish or German army to reach the railway line Batoum-Baku and from there on to penetrate further into Asia.
